Mary: I am retired after a successful carreer in Insurance while showing dogs as a hobby at the same time. Doing a lot of traveling and obtaining championships on quite a few dogs. I grew up showing American Saddlebred Gaited Horses and attended Christian College in Columbia Missouri and practiced horsemanship under Mrs. Claude Drew. The most well respected horsewoman of that time. Showing purebred dogs has been my passiion all of my adult life. I have so much respect for well bred, beautiful Dogs with the attitude and temperament to go with it. To me, the Cavalier King Charles is a dream come true for the most wonderful Family Companion. I consider the Cavalier to be a working dog, and their job is to make you happy! Which they excell at! They are so willing to be trained and want to please you. They are easy maintenance and don't have to be taken to groomers. They are truly "Wash & Wear"! PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND DO NOT BUY YOUR CAVALIER FROM A PUPPY MILL! The adoption of Two babies 17 years ago has really been a blessing to me. They truly love the Cavaliers also.
